Terms and Conditions for Booking Laurina’s Cove
Welcome to Laurina’s Cove. We kindly ask you to carefully read the terms and conditions below before making a reservation. By making a reservation, you agree to these terms.
1. Reservation and Confirmation
- A reservation is only considered final after full payment, including the security deposit (if applicable), has been received, and a written confirmation has been sent by Laurina’s Cove.
- The reservation is subject to availability and becomes binding upon receipt of the confirmation email.
2. Payment
- Full payment, including the security deposit, must be made at the time of booking.
- Any additional costs, such as optional services (parking, baby set, pets, linens, etc.), will be included in the final invoice and must also be paid in advance.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations up to 14 days before the arrival date: full refund minus an administrative fee of €50.
- Cancellations within 14 days before the arrival date: no refund, unless the property can be rebooked for the same period.
- No-shows or early departures do not entitle guests to any refund.
4. Security Deposit
- The security deposit must be paid at the same time as the reservation.
- The security deposit will be refunded no later than 7 days after the end of the stay, provided no damage has been reported and all rules have been followed.
- Any damage or additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
5. Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
- If different check-in or check-out times are required, this must be arranged in advance and approved in writing.
6. Guest Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for the proper use and maintenance of the accommodation during their stay.
- Bringing a maximum of 2 pets is allowed, provided this is communicated in advance. Pets must be supervised and should not cause any nuisance.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment, including the courtyard. Violation of this rule will result in a €200 cleaning fee.
- It is not permitted to host more guests than stated in the reservation unless this has been agreed upon in writing beforehand.
7. Optional Services
- Optional services, such as private parking, baby sets, bed and bath linens, and pets, are available for an additional fee. These options must be requested and confirmed in advance.
8. Cancellation by Laurina’s Cove
- Laurina’s Cove reserves the right to cancel a reservation in case of force majeure, such as technical issues or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the full payment will be refunded without further liability.
9. Damage and Liability
- Laurina’s Cove is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests’ personal belongings. - Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the apartment, furniture, or other facilities during their stay, whether by themselves, co-guests, or visitors.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
- All personal data provided during the booking process will be treated confidentially and used solely for managing your reservation, in accordance with GDPR regulations.
11. Force Majeure
- Laurina’s Cove cannot be held liable for shortcomings resulting from force majeure, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government measures.
12. Applicable Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Belgium.
